To create your templates you will need to choose plastic or paper. Once you make your choice you will need to trace your template to paper, add a few permitted seams, and then use adhesive to add your trace to a clip of hard copy like cardboard and cut out your templates. Before you cut your templates, first make copies and play with the patterns until you achieve your desired pattern. Once you achieve your patterns add numbers or letters to mark it. This will help you remember where each template goes. Next, you will cut your pattern parts out, using scissors or a hobby knife. Cut the outside areas only at the edges. You will need to create one template per piece to add to your quilt.
As a matter of fact, web templates can really help you save up lots of money and time and best of all help you do professional work. Just imagine hiring a web designer to design your website. Cutting shallow mortises that are clean and evenly deep such as those for butt hinges is a difficult task with traditional tools. A router guided by a template will give more accurate cuts faster and with less variation. Router stability on the template is essential to an accurate and safe cut. A router that wobbles with a lot of cutter engaged can break the cutter, tear the stock and template or even cause a kickback that can cause the router to fall to the floor. The machinery has to stay flat and stable at all times.
Upload and Install: Once you have the template on your computer, the next step is to upload it to your website. You can do this manually by logging onto your Joomla hosting account's Control Panel (from where you usually manage files, emails, check websites stats, etc. You get the point! ) You will then go the (from where you manage the files on your website), navigate to the directory where you installed Joomla, click on the folder where the Joomla templates are stored and upload the new Joomla template to the same folder.
The ideal place to get free Joomla templates is online sites that deal specifically with Joomla, but it will all depend on the specific needs that have to be satisfied and the type of template to be used. There are many sites that offer these services, so doing extensive research about what they specifically offer is crucial since not all offer the same type of templates. If you get the wrong template, it will need a converter and this will be too costly and time-consuming.
Similar to PSD files and Photoshop, templates that advertise Flash elements also require their own editor. It is beyond the scope of this article to discuss the wisdom of using Flash in the first place, but as a general rule of thumb, keep Flash use to minimum. Unless the template is for a complete Flash site, it will likely contain a "non-Flash" version of the template. Generally Flash is used for navigation and headers in templates, so if don't wish to use the Flash elements, check to see if there is a "non-Flash" version that uses gif/jpeg graphics instead. Otherwise a Flash editor will be required as well as some more time and effort to learn the editor and Flash. Ironically, templates can be a useful learning tool for Flash, since seeing how they are laid out and scripted can provide an understanding of how the animations work.
