The best way to get the basics right is to start by making some simple templates. The most difficult part of template routing is making the template itself. All the important information about the final shape you want to rout should be encoded in the design of the template. The more accurately a template is made, the more time will be saved in the long run. In this way less time will be spent in sanding, fitting and fudging later in the manufacturing process.
There are free Photography templates and Art templates, then there are premium that you pay for. Premium templates are pretty much ready-made websites. They are normally well-coded and all you need to do is very little editing. You are usually able to adjust small things such as background color and overall color schemes. The free templates can be customized and can give you a good chance to be creative. Customizing your template will give your website a unique feeling instead of looking like all other sites. You can also find many website editors on the Internet that will allow you that creative touch. Look at the websites of the fabulous popular artists and photographers and derive some approaches from their pages. You may notice some hidden tricks and functionalities that make the visitors stay longer on their websites except for the works themselves.
Upload and Install: Once you have the template on your computer, the next step is to upload it to your website. You can do this manually by logging onto your Joomla hosting account's Control Panel (from where you usually manage files, emails, check websites stats, etc. You get the point! ) You will then go the (from where you manage the files on your website), navigate to the directory where you installed Joomla, click on the folder where the Joomla templates are stored and upload the new Joomla template to the same folder.
After you set up your blog, you may decide that you don't like the template so much, or you might just want to give it a fresh look. There are a couple of ways you can change your template. The easiest way is to simply switch to one of the other default templates provided by Blogger. You can switch templates by going to Layout -> Pick New Template from your Blogger account dashboard. You can pick a new template as simply as you selected your initial one. All the information (posts, pictures, and videos) you have already placed on your blog will be retained. Blogger's system separates the actual information (your posts and media) presented on a blog from the way in which the information is presented - your blog's theme.
Experienced woodworkers know how difficult it can be to guide routers for achieving the perfect cut. The easiest way to avoid mistakes with routers is to use a template. Templates are simply patterns of the shapes that are required to be cut. Templates allow woodworkers to repeat cuts and shapes perfectly, however it is important to remember to use the same bit with the same collar and the same depth. This information must be recorded on the template.
For this type of work it is easier to use a straight bit with a collar guide because you can adjust the cutting depth to match the thickness of the shelf support stock. Collar guides will displace the cut from the exact edge of the template. With straight lines this merely entails positioning the template at the offset distance from the layout line so that the layout lines are just as straight.
